Join us as we celebrate the music, dance and rhythms of Latin America with events throughout the day.
This ticket is for the 'Afro-Brazilian Percussion with Newton Peres' (11:00-12:30am).
Additional ticketing for for the 'Learn to Salsa Dance!' Workshop(1:00-2:00pm) and the live music concert with Arcos Iris, Cores Do Samba and Viva La Tradition (2:30-6:00pm).
Come and learn to play Maracatu and other rhythms from Northeast Brazil in this hands-on workshop with Newton Peres, born and raised in Recife and with more than 18 years of experience teaching Maracatu nationally and internationally. Instruments provided. Please bring a set of earplugs. Children (<18y) must be accompanied by an adult. Places are limited so book early!
