Following their two sellout gigs at the Festival in 2023 and 2024, the Tim Boniface & James Pearson Quartet return with a fresh set drawn from the legendary pianist Oscar Peterson’s collaborations with saxophonists. With music from Oscar's recordings with Stan Getz, Ben Webster, Lester Young, Sonny Stitt and more, this top-class ensemble bring an infectiously swinging evening not to be missed. Charismatic collaborators Tim Boniface (saxophones) and James Pearson (piano) will be joined by two stalwarts of the international jazz scene, Jeremy Brown (bass) and Steve Brown (drums) - a more swinging band you’ll struggle to find anywhere! Early booking advised.

Girton College offers the perfect setting for this stunning concert - a College steeped in progressive history that has recently seen the launch of Girton Jazz, a unique programme of workshops and concerts. Early booking advised!
